Intelligent Movement to Restore and Perform

Take control of your movement and reclaim your strength with Sotai Movement from Kiyama Bodyworks, the go-to destination for lasting relief and results.

Okay... wait... What is Sotai?

Sotai is a Japanese movement practice that helps restore balance and relieve pain by working with the body’s natural movement patterns rather than forcing against them. Unlike traditional methods (massage, chiropractic, physical therapy, etc.) Sotai focuses on gentle, comfortable movements that retrain your nervous system and muscles to work together effortlessly. It’s like a reset button for your neuromuscular system, leaving you feeling lighter, freer, and more at ease.

I've never heard of that...

Kenichi

I’m the owner and sole practitioner of Kiyama Bodyworks, where movement, recovery, and performance meet. As a certified corrective exercise specialist, lifelong martial artist, professional violinist, and dedicated fitness enthusiast, my work is shaped by both training and experience. After facing and working through my own injuries over the years, I developed a deep respect for the body’s ability to adapt when given the right input. My approach blends Sotai, corrective exercise, and movement coaching to help people restore balance, move intelligently, and perform at their best.

CES

"As a life time martial artist and personal trainer, I have had many tweaks and injuries throughout my life. After meeting Kenichi and having body work done by him, my ranges of motion and movement have increased especially because of the grueling demand I put upon myself. Through his personal knowledge of understanding the body, he has helped me and other people I have sent to him. Amazing bodywork specialist"

-Antoine Gomez, Personal Trainer/Martial Arts Expert and Coach

I can't say enough good things about Kenichi and his practice. Being a competitive bodybuilder I have run into a number of injuries and joint issues. Many of which I have dealt with for multiple years, and thought I would forever. Kenichi has helped me work through these injuries and problems remarkable quickly as well as given me many new perspectives on my training and how my body functions. Not to mention the guys a real gentleman. If you have any problems with your joints, muscles, or movements, give him a visit. You won't regret it.
